WorkHero is a managed back-office service that runs end-to-end administrative operations for small HVAC contractors. The company takes ownership of paperwork, billing and collections, pricebook management, maintenance plans, permits, rebates, equipment registrations, payroll and vendor/payments reconciliation, and sets up and optimizes field-service and accounting software such as Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, and QuickBooks. Work is executed by dedicated HVAC office managers supported by AI-assisted automation to speed repetitive work while preserving human quality control; the offering is month-to-month and focused on removing admin bottlenecks so owners can scale without hiring or training in-house staff.

📋 Description

• Own and evolve the roadmap for one or two AI-agent product areas end to end • Take features from requirements through launch, documentation, and iteration • Translate ambiguous user needs into concrete AI behaviors, workflows, and requirements • Run user discovery with Senior Office Managers and contractor customers • Define use cases, specifications, UX, and technical tradeoffs with engineering • Maintain quality standards and partner with engineers on QA • Define success metrics for customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and agent performance • Own KPIs, evaluations, instrumentation, experimentation, and continuous improvement • Collaborate with engineering, service, sales, and go-to-market partners • Report to the founding Product Manager and shape product direction through user insights

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of product management experience • Experience owning products from strategy through launch • Strong product judgment and ability to make prioritization and tradeoff decisions • Ability to reason about LLM limits and tradeoffs • Ability to test LLM pipelines using no-code and prototyping tools • Hands-on experience with LLM-powered products or agents, including prompts, tools, or evaluations, is exceptional/advantageous but not stated as required • Experience establishing evaluation, measurement, instrumentation, or analytics practices is exceptional/advantageous but not stated as required • Early- or growth-stage B2B SaaS product management experience is exceptional/advantageous • Strong UX skills, especially for conversational web and mobile interfaces, are exceptional/advantageous • Familiarity with FSM software or HVAC/field-service domains is nice to have, not required • Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to work independently in ambiguous, early-stage startup environments • United States work location; must answer whether United States work-authorization sponsorship will be required
