📋 Description

• Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy for California campaigns, focusing on major donors, PACs, and events • Set and track monthly, quarterly, and cycle-to-date fundraising goals and KPIs • Organize and lead call time for state and national principals, including call lists, call sheets, briefings, pledge tracking, and follow-ups • Research current and prospective donors, organizations, and PACs • Maintain accurate CRM data, clean records, and donor segmentation in EveryAction • Plan and manage fundraising events ranging from salons and briefings to receptions and statewide gatherings • Build and steward donor relationships through personalized engagement, cultivation plans, and campaign updates • Collaborate with donor networks, organizers, and bundlers to expand support and leverage the WFP donor community • Lead fundraising strategy and execution for the California donor community • Build infrastructure to meet ambitious fundraising goals • Oversee major donor cultivation, events, donor research, fundraising efforts, data tracking, and travel coordination • Work with senior staff and state and national principals to drive call time and fundraising efforts

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in political fundraising • Experience in at least one federal or statewide campaign strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to manage a major donor program and meet ambitious fundraising goals • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to brief and coach staff for call time and events • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed • Demonstrated project management experience and stakeholder collaboration • Ability to manage systems and prioritize competing demands • Ability to identify and correct errors • Commitment to building a party seeking governing power by, for, and with working-class people of all races • Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States • Employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
