• Maintains physician, patient, provider and staff scheduling systems to ensure efficient scheduling • Initiates/maintains clinical, non-clinical and surgical electronic schedules for physicians and patients • Coordinates with clinical supervisors to optimize scheduling system utility • Develops new functions and innovative uses of system and installs system upgrades, providing current manuals and training/explanations to users • Generates reports and master schedules, assisting with data analysis as needed • Coordinates scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries • Troubleshoots system for all users, conducting audits to maintain effective use of systems • Participates in department/university meetings to ensure scheduling system meets needs
• High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience • Medical Office Scheduling (3 Years) • No specific certification/professional license is required for this position • Skills: Computer Systems, Detail-Oriented, Medical Office Procedures, Scheduling Appointments
