📋 Description

• Advises and assists departmental supervisors on payroll related issues. • Processes payroll transactions for academic and nonacademic personnel. • Assists new employees with completing the appropriate new hire, payroll and benefit forms. • May provide general orientation for new employee. • Responsible for departmental foreign national paperwork and compliance for visas. • Assists supervisors with the hiring process including job requisitions, PHS entry and appointment screening. • May maintain sick and vacation leave records for staff personnel. • Prepares cost-transfers and journals adjusting when necessary. • Maintains personnel and payroll related files for department. • May assist supervisors with documentation needed for employee evaluation process. • May assist in annual budget process. • Ensures accuracy and completion of PAR’s reports. • Administers academic bonus plan and faculty compensation plan.

• Associate degree or combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education. • Relevant Experience (3 Years) • Skills: Not Applicable • A driver's license is not required for this position.
