📋 Description

• Participate in effective Young Life ministry through training and direct field ministry experience • Develop personal spiritual growth plans and participate in church and Young Life spiritual life • Lead and develop volunteer leaders through recruiting, training, team building and supervision • Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership • Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners and camping • Raise financial support and maintain donor relationships • Communicate ministry updates to personal donor partners • Assist with camp fundraisers and attend assigned committee and adult functions • Participate in contact work, Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry • Implement summer and school-season camping strategies • Potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property • Assist with office administration and complete expense reports • Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals • Work with kids in the Burnt Hills club

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a college degree • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord • Must subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff policies • Must be ready, willing and able to fulfill required ministry functions • Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from Young Life’s biblical standards • Must abide by Young Life policies and practices, including those related to religious belief or ministry activities
