📋 Description

• Serve as a key point of contact for assigned distributors and key retailers • Support development of annual business plans under the direction of the Zone Manager • Drive attainment of DGY annual and zone business objectives • Implement approved business plans and tactics in the assigned territory • Communicate and execute wholesale and retail programs to achieve sales, distribution, promotional, and merchandising objectives • Maintain regular call frequency with wholesalers, retailers, and retail field sales managers • Develop local market plans and support distributor management and sales teams • Manage retail execution plans and initiate activities for assigned markets • Monitor product inventory levels and inventory rotation • Conduct trimester reviews covering distribution, sales volume, pricing, execution opportunities, competitive activity, retailer trends, and co-op spending • Develop and execute corrective action plans as needed • Monitor retail execution and improve performance for DGY brands • Identify underperforming packages and develop programs to improve them • Develop distribution targets, key account target lists, and distribution progress reports • Reinforce distribution, shelf-set, and merchandising standards • Manage local sampling plans and engage consumers and retailers at events, trade shows, and retail concentrations • Establish and monitor wholesaler point-of-sale budgets and allocate point-of-sale materials • Assemble and position point-of-sale materials in key retail areas • Conduct sales presentations and planning meetings with distributor sales teams • Communicate with cross-functional teams including National/Chain Account Managers, Marketing, and Brewery Operations • Provide written recaps of meetings, retail days, progress tracking, co-op budgets, and market opportunities • Troubleshoot draft beer systems when qualified • Manage the distributor bill-back process in accordance with DGY policies

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in the range from Roanoke, VA to Lexington, VA area • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or minimum of 5 years equivalent job experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in all situations • Good listening skills and engaging group presentation capabilities • Ability to perform and understand basic trade math • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, maintain attention to detail, manage time effectively, and set goals and objectives • Ability to follow instructions and respond appropriately to management direction • Ability to take independent actions and calculated risks • Creativity and original thinking • Team player and highly self-motivated • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record • Ability to work traditional and non-traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required • Availability for overnight travel • Solid computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VIP, and mobile industry applications • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds
