📋 Description

• Build the Accounting department at Yunicorn from the ground up—from foundational structures and processes to systems and tools • Develop and implement scalable accounting and reporting structures • Select and implement the technical infrastructure, including accounting software, automation, and integrations • Build and lead your own team, both professionally and disciplinarily • Advise and strategically support partners and leadership on all finance and accounting matters • Ensure compliance, accurate financial closes, and reliable reporting across multiple portfolio companies • Develop financial processes for the international ecosystem, with activities across Europe, Asia, and Latin America

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in accounting, ideally with responsibility for building functions or leading teams • Experience in a VC, incubation, or startup environment is a strong advantage, particularly experience working with multiple portfolio companies in parallel • Technical understanding of modern accounting systems • Willingness to actively digitize processes rather than simply administer them • Ability to balance strict compliance with pragmatic solutions • Hands-on mentality combined with strategic thinking at partner level • Full commitment (Full Focus)—this is not a side project • Strategic thinking, technical understanding, and pragmatism • CV required for the application; cover letters and references are not necessary
