📋 Description

• Design planning, record creation and capacity fulfillment throughout the U.S. and Canadian networks • Work with Project Managers to effectively deliver service requirements to customers • Communicate and collaborate with internal customers and teams on capacity fulfillment progress • Manage workload, identify critical issues, and prioritize daily deliverables • Resolve obstacles and roadblocks in order flow to meet required due dates • Participate in operations-related projects and support customer or network escalations • Design DWDM networks according to Network Architecture standards and future network and customer growth • Implement DWDM wave circuit designs for the network core • Create Engineering Design Packages for Operations personnel • Provide timely updates to project managers and leadership on service deliverables and due dates • Review capacity requests and clarify design-related items with responsible departments • Maintain customer commitments and deadlines in the Zayo Salesforce or successor system • Support field operations in resolving provisioning problems and verify technical data • Open, forecast, and maintain budgets based on service commitments • Secure optical vendor quotes, order equipment, move equipment from inventory to the field, and write installation scopes of work • Manage the escalation process as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Able to meet inflexible deadlines, perform multiple non-predictive tasks, and handle customer conflict to successful resolution • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google programs and project management software • Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Familiarity with optical systems including Fuji, Adva, Ciena, Cisco, Infinera, and Nokia • Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Sitetracker equivalents, and telecom inventory systems • Metasolv familiarity is a bonus • Working knowledge of optical systems and signal-flow designs through fixed or flex-grid networks using ROADM technology • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education, training and/or experience • Minimum of three years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience • Relevant experience in Project Coordination within the Telecommunications industry • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization, such as OPT, TN, H1B, or any other type of work visa, now or in the future
