📋 Description

• Lead planning and design phases of multiple complex physical security projects throughout North America • Serve as primary project manager from project initiation through design completion • Keep projects aligned with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations • Identify project schedule and scope parameters and oversee security design and implementation • Manage project initiation activities and develop security scope, schedule, critical deliverables, and requirements • Manage scheduling, status, and tracking of critical project tasks, issues, and deliverables • Prepare, issue, and manage RFP documents for security systems installation scope • Evaluate RFP responses and prepare evaluation reports with scoring and recommendations • Perform security site evaluations and review proposed design concepts • Apply client system design standards and collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and verify functional requirements • Produce security functional specifications • Review security system design documentation for compliance and redline corrections as needed • Keep clients informed of project status, including budget, schedule, and issues • Manage client expectations through communication with clients and project team members • Serve as primary security point of contact for project teams and stakeholders • Attend project design, project management, OAC, and construction meetings • Manage physical security site activation activities to drive schedule, quality, and cost • Coordinate with ZBeta design resources to develop scope of work documents for security systems procurement and installation • Produce weekly project status and issues reports and review high-priority issues with client stakeholders • Log issue resolutions that are exceptions to client security requirements • Review designs for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance • Coordinate internal quality assurance reviews before client delivery • Verify deliverables are complete, coordinated, and ready for procurement • Ensure documentation meets ZBeta quality standards and design methodologies • Capture lessons learned and recommend future project delivery improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in consulting with external clients on complex, aggressively scheduled data center projects • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Detailed knowledge of access control system hardware, wiring standards/practices, installation methods, and programming • Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard; experience performing basic programming functions is a plus • Certification in either S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems is preferred • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software • Proficiency in Studio and Bluebeam is a plus • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and QuickBase • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple competing priorities • Demonstrated excellence communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, verbally and in writing • Demonstrated ability to identify critical path activities, prioritize tasks and deliverables, and realize consistent progress • Ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without direct authority • Ability to coach and support project team members • Must be based in the United States • Must be able to travel up to 20% • Must be able to meet client and/or government security screening requirements • Must be a U.S. citizen due to citizenship-based legal restrictions • Must complete a background check upon hire and every two years thereafter • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
