📋 Description

• Conduct drone operations with a high level of safety conformity in accordance with industry best practices • Complete data collection, initially focused on external inspections of wind turbine blades, later expanding to other wind turbine inspection types and potentially other energy infrastructure • Support Operations in successful data capture across multiple verticals • Provide detailed feedback to product and engineering teams on Zeitview or other OEM technology • Determine collection strategy based on project requirements • Operate and diagnose remotely controlled apparatus in challenging conditions • Maintain and publish current statuses using mission tools available to stakeholders • Plan and assist in developing operations training and workflows • Communicate with local stakeholders to determine operational requirements • Travel to and from remote job sites throughout the United States • Assist with training or other special projects when requested

🎯 Requirements

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate • Experience with complex drone-based data capture techniques • Comfortable with 75% domestic travel in support of operations • Global Wind Organization training certifications or willingness to complete the courses • Previous experience handling external inspection of wind turbine towers and blades is ideal • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting rigid deadlines • Ability to adapt to different working environments • Experience implementing and managing client Scope of Work objectives • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and individuals and reach consensus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to lift 50 lbs easily • Ability to sit and stand for long periods • Willingness to work at heights • Ability to work outdoors year-round • Must submit to random drug screens and background checks • Must be comfortable traveling 75% of the time (3 weeks on / 1 week off) • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or answer whether visa sponsorship/transfer will be required
