📋 Description

• Manage US close readiness, reporting, analytics and quality routines • Manage close calendars, dependencies, issue escalation, completion visibility and follow-up actions • Build and improve the US Controller close reporting package covering balance-sheet and P&L movements, variances, unusual activity, open items, accounting judgments and control matters • Develop analytics and visualizations to identify trends, anomalies, breaks, aged items and recurring adjustments • Own recurring accounting areas end-to-end, including journal entries, reconciliations, substantiation, supporting schedules and review-ready documentation • Design and improve review routines, checklists, evidence standards, certifications and issue logs • Analyze account balances and financial statement movements, investigate root causes and resolve accounting, data and process issues • Partner with Finance Systems, Data and business stakeholders on source-data quality, reporting logic, reconciliations and data lineage • Monitor debt portfolio performance, covenant compliance and financing metrics with Treasury • Apply automation, AI and agentic tools to close work while maintaining accounting judgment, governance and auditability • Support Finance Change & Transformation as the Controller team’s subject-matter partner for close-related automation and AI use cases • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and drive sustainable resolution of close issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience, including meaningful hands-on responsibility for month-end close, balance-sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis • Strong accounting foundation and working knowledge of US GAAP • Ability to independently own important workstreams, navigate ambiguity, coordinate dependencies and drive work through completion with limited day-to-day oversight • Strong analytical ability using accounting and financial data to identify anomalies and root causes • Advanced Excel or equivalent analytical skills • Hands-on experience with data visualization or business-intelligence tools • Comfort working with larger datasets, structured data and reporting logic • Practical experience using automation and emerging AI tools in finance or accounting • Understanding of human review, data controls, governance and auditability for agentic workflows • Experience with reconciliations, review evidence, process documentation, SOX or audit support, and repeatable quality-control routines • Ability to communicate clearly with accounting and non-accounting audiences • Strong systems aptitude across ERP, reconciliation, reporting, workflow and data environments • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
