📋 Description

• Serve as an integral co-leader of the Sales Region and execute and communicate the Zoetis Petcare strategy • Provide superior customer and scientific support to achieve sustainable competitive advantage • Enhance Zoetis's professional and scientific image and represent Zoetis credibly within the veterinary profession • Attend and contribute to selected professional organization meetings • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and other stakeholders to influence business strategies and develop tactics • Collaborate with the Petcare VPSLT on strategies and tactics to improve VPS team performance and efficiency • Help lead, develop, and implement short- and long-term VPS strategies and policies • Align with the Regional Sales Director to drive the yearly Regional Business Plan and strategically deploy VPS resources • Build strong working relationships with the Regional Sales Director, Area Business Managers, and Regional Sales Enablement partner • Lead and develop a team of veterinarians serving as medical advisors to the sales force and customers • Devote 60% or more of time to field rides and coaching the regional VPS team • Execute three in-car rides with PSV and sales colleagues, including customer events and coaching • Hold the team accountable for objectives, performance standards, metrics, and appraisals • Ensure Veterinary Professional Services aligns with Zoetis pharmaceutical business strategies and provides technical support • Identify opportunities to leverage VPS team skills for internal and external customers • Drive a positive team culture based on Zoetis vision, core beliefs, and leader behaviors • Execute the Regional Speaker Management Strategy • Successfully launch new products and service offerings • Manage operating expenses, Zoetis assets, expense reports, and travel and entertainment policy compliance • Recruit external colleagues and develop internal colleagues to support engagement and succession planning • Leverage VPS Competencies and Individual Development Plans • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to direct reports • Successfully complete an Individual Development Plan and incorporate feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical practice, academia, research • Minimum of three (3) years of Industry experience • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong relationship building skills and collaboration cross organizationally and beyond • Proven leadership ability and commitment to drive positive culture, performance, and people development • Growth Mindset and Change Agile • Positivity and Solution oriented • Confidence and Flexibility • Strategic thinking and matrix management skills • Ability to influence and persuade • Ability to build upon legacy of success and the initiative to create innovative, novel strategies and tactics to drive performance of VPS and Regional Sales teams • Ability to exercise good judgement and make thoughtful/fair decisions based on relevant information • Financial experience including budgetary management • Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, ability to learn Zoetis systems) • Project management skills • All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis • Individuals requiring sponsorship must disclose this fact
