📋 Description

• Promote and sell insurance products and solutions through inbound and outbound channels • Uncover insurance needs and provide tailored, consultative, client-first solutions • Drive sales growth and meet individual targets • Deliver the desired client experience to customers and prospects • Maximize cross-selling, referrals, and client retention opportunities • Follow authorized scripts, processes, and procedures • Manage complex cases and high-end sales • Provide advice and guidance on solution implementation • Maintain relevant licenses and satisfy continuing education and Errors & Omissions Insurance requirements • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders • Build effective stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations • Answer technical life insurance questions for licensed agents • Develop program scripting, objection handling, and training • Ensure legal and compliance requirements related to sales are met • Design and develop tools and training programs, including possible training delivery • Complete administrative functions such as sales reports and follow-up on pending business • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build capability and drive business growth • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience • Bilingualism in French and English is required • Must meet licensing and certification requirements for the team, branch, and jurisdiction • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or Level 2 license in Ontario/Quebec equivalent for Life Insurance products • Valid OTL insurance license in Ontario and/or Quebec for Other Than Life Insurance products • Expectation to work towards the A&S/LLQP license within 3 months of employment for Other Than Life Insurance products • Experience in a call center environment preferred • Working knowledge of life insurance products, life insurance product application, life insurance law, compliance, and regulations • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience • In-depth verbal and written communication skills • In-depth collaboration and team skills • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills • In-depth influence skills • Fluent in French and English
