Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club is the professional NHL ice hockey team based in Edmonton, Alberta that operates the Edmonton Oilers franchise, manages team and hockey operations, sells tickets and premium seating, runs fan engagement and membership programs (Oilers+, LOILTY), produces multimedia content (Oilers TV, streaming, highlights), and manages merchandising and event services at Rogers Place. The organization provides game-day experiences, youth hockey and community programs, corporate partnerships, and charity initiatives in addition to typical team roster and coaching management.

📋 Description

• Primarily responsible for B2B Oilers Season Seat sales • Sell premium rentals for concerts, Oilers and Oil Kings • Sell ticket packages and group sales for Oilers and Oil Kings • Prospect, pitch, and close new B2B accounts with local businesses • Build and manage a self-sourced lead list and maintain relationships with clients • Conduct proactive outreach via phone, SMS, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings • Attend events to host clients and generate leads • Upsell current clients into additional assets • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within CRM tools • Collaborate cross-functionally with other internal departments to deliver exceptional service

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of sales experience preferred • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma is an asset • Must have access to a vehicle and a valid Alberta Driver’s License (or ability to obtain prior to employment) • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Comfortable managing a robust pipeline and navigating long-term sales cycles • You understand that the professional sports & entertainment industry often results in odd and unpredictable working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
