📋 Description

• Define and execute the overall QA strategy alongside engineering leadership • Build and maintain a suite of automated tests • Lead the existing QA team in building and maintaining the automated test suite • Foster a culture where engineers treat quality as part of their everyday work • Maintain test cases in the test case management system • Audit and report on application performance and security • Perform software development and testing • Utilize AI when the benefit is clear and recognize when it is not • Manually test occasional features requiring an extra set of eyes • Collaborate with an experienced and motivated team using tools such as Claude, GitHub, Jira, Slack, and Google Cloud

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of software engineering experience • Strong commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java • Strong commercial experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar • Experience developing and maintaining continuous integration and test pipeline tools • Experience testing with WCAG accessibility standards and tools • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral • Version control tools and branching workflows: Git, GitHub • Bonus: experience leading and mentoring a team of developers • Bonus: experience with PHP or React • Bonus: experience in the non-profit sector
