âą Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance management, employee engagement, organizational change, and workforce planning âą Coach leaders on people-related matters while balancing business needs, legislative requirements, and employee considerations âą Support workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and other employee relations matters âą Interpret and apply employment legislation, organizational policies, and HR best practices âą Facilitate disability, medical leave, and workplace accommodation cases from intake through resolution âą Collaborate with employees, leaders, and external case management providers to support effective return-to-work and accommodation plans âą Provide guidance on human rights obligations, accommodation requirements, and disability management best practices âą Maintain accurate case documentation while ensuring confidentiality and legislative compliance âą Participate in People & Culture projects, policy development, process improvement initiatives, and organizational programs âą Develop tools, resources, communications, and training materials to support leaders and employees âą Contribute to change management and organizational effectiveness initiatives
âą Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour, or a related discipline âą CPHR designation and membership in good standing with a provincial CPHR association preferred âą 5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience âą Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, disability management, workplace accommodations, leadership coaching, and workplace investigations âą Strong knowledge of employment standards, human rights legislation, and HR best practices âą Excellent consultation, coaching, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills âą Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills âą Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and appropriate use of AI tools âą Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality âą Commitment to building trusting relationships, fostering inclusion, and supporting a positive employee experience âą Ability to communicate in French is considered an asset
