📋 Description

• Lead and develop product designers across multiple teams or a large, complex area • Set design direction across zero-to-one and growth initiatives • Help teams move from ambiguous opportunities to compelling product experiences and measurable learning • Coach teams through experimentation using customer insight, research, data, prototypes, and product outcomes • Balance growth velocity and unit economics with customer value, craft quality, trust, accessibility, and long-term experience health • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Marketing, and other teams to shape strategy, scope initiatives, make trade-offs, and deliver customer value • Represent Design in roadmap, resourcing, timeline, and quality discussions • Support the KOHO Design System team through strategic direction, prioritization, critique, coaching, and cross-functional partnership • Build operating practices, feedback loops, and decision frameworks • Identify organizational capabilities and help attract, hire, onboard, and develop designers and design leaders • Use AI-enabled tools responsibly for exploration, synthesis, prototyping, design-system maintenance, communication, and decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products, ideally across mobile and web, in fintech, financial services, or another complex domain • 4+ years of experience leading and developing product design teams • Meaningful zero-to-one and/or growth experience • Experience discovering opportunities, launching new experiences, improving acquisition or activation, and learning through experimentation • Understanding of growth as a product and design problem • Deep design-systems expertise, including building, scaling, governing, adopting, or materially evolving a design system used by multiple teams • Strong agency and sound judgment • Expertise influencing product strategy, roadmap decisions, scope, and prioritization • Strong relationships with Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners • Excellent communication skills • Comfortable using modern AI tools with sound judgment around privacy and quality
