📋 Description

• Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employment status changes with accuracy and confidentiality • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS platforms and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law • Orchestrate benefits enrollments, terminations, open enrollment, and leave of absence tracking, including FMLA, ADA, and parental leave • Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, policies, and employment verifications • Partner with IT and Security teams to coordinate access provisioning and deprovisioning • Contribute to HR process documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Specialist, or similar HR support role • Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS or PEO platforms (Justworks, Lattice, Ashby, Rippling) and comfort working with data • Hands-on experience managing onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and leave of absence workflows • Knowledge of employment law, multi-state compliance, and leave administration (FMLA, ADA) • Experience supporting a remote or hybrid workforce in a fast-paced, distributed environment • U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements • Must reside in an approved hiring hub: DC/Maryland/Virginia; Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC; Denver/Colorado Springs, CO; or Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
