📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java • Implement new features based on business and technical requirements • Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices • Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and development standards • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues • Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions • Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence • Build technology that supports BEES, AB InBev’s B2B commerce platform serving merchants and retailers across 29 countries

🎯 Requirements

• Intermediate English skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields • Experience developing backend applications using Java • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code, SOLID principles, and software design patterns • Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server • Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows • Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, monitoring, and metrics • Nice to have: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Nice to have: Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis • Nice to have: Experience with event-driven architectures • Nice to have: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) • Nice to have: Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus • Nice to have: Experience with Python or other scripting languages • Professionals who take ownership of their work and deliver high-quality solutions • Team players who communicate effectively and collaborate across engineering teams • Developers eager to learn, share knowledge, and continuously improve • Individuals who adapt quickly to change and enjoy solving complex technical problems
