• Analyze the decision-making matrix, payer/provider decision drivers, and unmet needs within each key account • Highlight cross-functional impacts of anticipated changes in the payer/provider environment to IFTs and brand teams • Build trusted strategic relationships with payers/providers to anticipate access barriers and address account agendas and objectives • Identify opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally on win-win partnerships with key accounts • Develop account-specific strategies and concise engagement plans to optimize product usage, funding, and access • Negotiate, close, and sign deals; support or lead contracting and tendering processes; facilitate proposals to meet profit targets • Track execution, impact, and performance of key accounts to improve bottom-line results
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent • Relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of success in sales or consultative selling within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry • Ability to translate strategies into actionable, realistic key account engagement plans • Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional in-field teams • Ability to negotiate, close, and sign contracting and tendering deals with key accounts and complex customer networks • Solid analytical, business planning, and financial acumen skills • Solid working knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles • Solid knowledge of payer/provider mindset and motivation in the relevant local context • Solid knowledge of payer/provider decision-making processes and key stakeholders/influencers • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Demonstrated success with strategic, long-term, and tactical key account payer/provider experience in the relevant local context preferred • Leadership experience in key account decision-making processes within contracting and tendering situations preferred
