📋 Description

• Manage and support enterprise file services environments, including CIFS/SMB and NTFS • Troubleshoot, optimise, and migrate file services to ensure stable, secure, and high-performing operations • Administer and enhance Active Directory environments • Manage permissions, file share access, groups, and directory architecture • Develop and improve automation solutions using PowerShell and Automic (UC4) • Reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency across workplace infrastructure services • Contribute to migration, integration, and consolidation projects • Modernise file services environments and streamline access management processes • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in complex workplace infrastructure environments • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and operational practices • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and optimisation of workplace infrastructure services

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in File Services, including CIFS/SMB and NTFS troubleshooting and migration activities • Senior-level Active Directory knowledge, including architecture, permissions, and group management • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience, including complex script libraries and reusable modules • Intermediate or higher experience with Microsoft SQL Server • Intermediate or higher experience with Automic (UC4) administration and support • Proven experience in on-premises enterprise environments • Experience delivering migration or system integration projects • Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes • Ability to use AI tools responsibly, structure effective prompts, critically validate outputs, understand limitations, and take ownership of final results • Certifications related to M365 services are nice to have • Experience in highly customized enterprise environments with large automation frameworks is nice to have
