📋 Description

• Perform authorized forensic acquisition, preservation, and targeted or full forensic collection from approved data sources • Conduct forensic review and analysis to identify evidence, user activity, timelines, system artifacts, and supporting facts • Support investigations involving insider risk, employee misconduct, data exfiltration, unauthorized access, intellectual property concerns, and cybersecurity incidents • Provide advanced forensic support for malware, registry, memory, persistence, endpoint, and incident response investigations • Monitor security events and perform security investigations and computer forensic analysis • Assist in identifying security problems and breaches and developing countermeasures • Support eDiscovery activities, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, and preparation of electronically stored information • Maintain case documentation, evidence tracking, chain-of-custody records, investigation notes, status updates, technical reports, executive summaries, and findings presentations • Research tools, techniques, and industry trends in emerging security technologies or architectures • May develop security policies, awareness communications, and training programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent • Post-graduate, certification and/or license may be required • Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level • Authorized forensic acquisition, preservation, and collection skills • Experience with endpoints, servers, email, cloud, collaboration platforms, logs, and corporate systems • Forensic review and analysis of collected data • Knowledge of insider risk, employee misconduct, data exfiltration, unauthorized access, intellectual property concerns, cybersecurity incidents, and related investigations • Advanced forensic support for malware, registry, memory, persistence, endpoint, and incident response investigations • Security event monitoring and computer forensic analysis • eDiscovery activities and electronically stored information • Case documentation, evidence tracking, chain-of-custody records, investigation notes, technical reports, executive summaries, and findings presentations • Research into current tools, techniques, and industry-standard trends in emerging security technologies or architectures
