📋 Description

• Design and modernize the telephony infrastructure • Integrate with telecom providers in the US, LATAM, and Europe • Optimize resources and telecom costs • Build call-handling systems from scratch for outbound and inbound traffic • Develop integration solutions with the AI platform • Drive reliability, scaling, and fault tolerance • Work with high call volumes using Kamailio/OpenSIPS and rtpengine • Participate in 2nd- and 3rd-level support duties • Participate in the on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in VoIP and telephony engineering • Deep understanding of SIP protocol, including messaging, methods, response codes, and SDP • Experience troubleshooting signaling and media issues, including NAT and RTP • Knowledge of FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, or another B2BUA, including architecture, dialplan development using Lua/XML/conf, SIP profiles, gateways, and modules • Experience with performance optimization • Experience building utilities, tools, and management services for VoIP infrastructure • Experience with any programming language • Solid understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, RTP, and RTCP • Experience with traffic analysis using tcpdump, Wireshark, and sngrep • Strong Linux administration, specifically Debian or Ubuntu • Experience with Go language • Experience with Kamailio, OpenSIPS, or rtpengine • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Ansible, and Kubernetes • Experience with large-scale telephony systems • Experience with ESL and Sofia • Experience with Node.js for integration services, event socket (ESL) interaction with FreeSWITCH, and REST API development • Background in voice biometrics projects
