📋 Description

• Lead Airbnb’s AI-enabled quality engineering and test automation strategy • Build and maintain automation coverage for features and releases across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing • Develop and maintain test tools, write and test product code, and participate in design reviews for testable systems • Lead automated test implementation and collaborate with engineering teams to improve test coverage and testing processes • Improve automation frameworks to support new functionality and optimize quality and efficiency • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the CI/CD team • Troubleshoot issues, isolate problems, verify bug fixes, and debug issues found during testing and after release • Collaborate with product management, development, and other quality engineering teams in short release cycles

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation • Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as TypeScript or JavaScript, and strong scripting skills • Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks • Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite, Spinnaker, or Jenkins • Experience with version control systems, including Git • Excellent communication skills for facilitating cross-functional interactions • Expertise developing solutions to ambiguous problems and integrations across multiple teams • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
