• Serve as Senior Business Developer for Texas territory within Ameresco, an energy solutions provider • Establish and expand network of new prospects in Public and Private markets • Cultivate and manage customer relationships to become trusted advisor • Identify and connect with C-level decision makers, especially CFO and Corporate Real Estate • Develop and execute advisory and solution-based sales strategies, Asset Planning services and financial solutions • Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations; develop marketing collateral • Support conferences, workshops, decision roundtables and user events • Collaborate with software development team to expand software support solutions • Track sales information using Ameresco Salesforce • Perform research and development to improve ASG offerings • Travel to client sites as required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with complex and integrated sales, Asset Management, Software Solution and Consultative Selling • Understanding of financial models/structures • Understanding of building, asset and infrastructure needs • Experience with Asset (Capital) Management, Capital Planning, Maintenance Management, Energy Management (preferred) • Experience with development, presenting and managing operating and capital budgets (preferred) • Experience with C-Suite level selling, presenting, negotiating (preferred) • Demonstrated technical ability and collaborative work with software development and implementation teams (preferred) • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills • Valid Drivers' License in good standing (travel required) • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Salesforce software
