• Support the revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606. • Perform monthly close tasks for all revenue-related activities. • Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and other analytics to ensure complete and accurate recognition of revenues. • Provide support to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting for finance requests, audit inquiries, and other revenue-related matters. • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, operations, and other business partners to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions, ensuring accurate and timely recognition. • Leverage data analytics tools to identify revenue trends and improve forecasting accuracy. • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and quality. • Provide support and maintenance regarding internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, including reporting and related accounting estimates. • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of revenue-related systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs. • Collaborate with finance and business teams to analyze revenue-related transactions and variances to budget. • Determine methods and procedures to resolve complex accounting discrepancies. • Analyze financial data and present actionable variances to accounting leadership. • Mentor staff accountants and assist in establishing departmental best practices. • Coordinate directly with external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. • 4-7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or related roles. • Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles, with specific expertise in ASC 606. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders. • Ability to think strategically and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team. • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. • Proficiency with ERP systems, with experience in NetSuite or similar platforms. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models.
