• Maintain a healthy and forward-looking pipeline of qualified accounts for underwriting review • Build and expand new business pipelines aligned with Beacon’s strategic goals • Support profitable growth through market intelligence, positioning, and enablement of Sales and Underwriting • Propose, develop, and manage the Business Development Plan • Forecast and report on annual growth, pipeline health, and opportunity conversion • Maintain required reports and performance metrics • Align Business Development strategy with organizational goals • Identify new markets, products, and service opportunities • Strengthen Beacon’s competitive positioning • Develop and manage distribution strategies • Identify and track cross-sell opportunities • Support quote-to-bind performance • Promote and protect Beacon’s brand • Manage website, digital presence, and social media • Develop industry and broker communications • Represent Beacon at trade associations and events • Develop sales tools, training, and promotional materials • Support new client contracting and onboarding • Maintain client databases and required documentation • Ensure accuracy and accessibility of Business Development records
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Experience in business development or related fields • Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills • Aviation or specialty insurance experience (preferred) • Familiarity with broker distribution models (preferred) • Marketing and digital platform experience (preferred)
