šŸ“‹ Description

• Serve as the primary reviewer for incoming international deal/order requests, evaluating export and shipment eligibility • Coordinate with Sales, Vendor Operations, and Purchasing to gather destination, customer, end-use, product, and OEM/vendor information • Track deal requests and maintain status and audit records • Review OEM/manufacturer agreements to confirm shipment authorization from the U.S. to destination countries • Identify OEM geographic restrictions, distributor/territory limitations, and licensing requirements • Maintain reference documentation on OEM shipping authorizations • Screen countries, customers, and individuals against restricted/denied party and sanctions lists • Investigate potential matches and escalate true matches or ambiguous hits • Document screening results for audit and compliance records • Review ECCN, HTS, CCATS, and country-of-origin data for export eligibility under EAR/ITAR • Identify export license, license exception, or additional authorization requirements and route cases to trade compliance/legal • Escalate discrepancies between vendor and independently verified classifications • Review freight forwarder commercial invoices for correct export details • Maintain audit-ready documentation and produce periodic compliance reporting • Recommend and implement process improvements, checklists, and tools • Support compliance reference materials, training content, and policy documentation • Work with international partners to develop global deal capabilities • Align quotes and pricing with international partners • Educate Account Executives on the Cross Border Program, timelines, and documentation • Act as a resource for cross-border deal questions and set expectations during the sales cycle

šŸŽÆ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in export compliance, international trade, global logistics, or a related analytical/compliance role • Working knowledge of U.S. export control regulations (EAR, ITAR) and economic sanctions programs (OFAC) • Familiarity with ECCN, HTS classification, and CCATS documentation • Experience screening transactions against restricted/denied party lists • Strong research and analytical skills with high attention to detail • Ability to interpret contract/agreement language, including OEM/distribution agreements, to determine shipping authorization • Excellent written communication skills for documenting findings and escalations • Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems, such as NetSuite and Salesforce, and standard office/productivity tools • Prior experience at a technology VAR, distributor, or OEM manufacturer preferred • Familiarity with distributor systems such as TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, Jenne, or Carahsoft preferred • Experience with trade compliance screening software/tools preferred • Export compliance certification such as CUSECO/CUSECP a plus • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience a plus
