📋 Description

• Collaborate with AspenTech sales teams to lead consultative discovery sessions • Craft visionary solutions and design strategies tailored to customer needs • Lead and execute technical qualification of solutions to business outcomes • Serve as a discipline/practice subject matter expert on operational challenges, best practices, and industry trends • Learn and apply AspenTech’s product portfolio to customer business challenges • Develop industry messaging and materials, adapting them for regional or market differences • Partner with Sales Account Managers throughout discovery, solution design, executive presentations, and deal execution • Engage senior customer executives and communicate AspenTech’s digitalization vision • Develop industry-specific solutions aligned with measurable business value • Provide market input to Product Management to improve solution adoption • Identify and lead sales campaigns to increase reach, pipeline, and awareness • Coach and enable Sales Account Managers and Solution Consultants on industry messaging, customer engagement, and solution positioning • Represent AspenTech at industry conferences, customer forums, webinars, and trade events across the region

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in industrial software, services, solution consulting, presales, technical sales or related customer-facing technical roles • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred) • Proficiency in Asset Performance Management (Mtell), Industrial Data Platforms (Inmation), and Historians (InfoPlus.21), or equivalent competitor technologies • Demonstrated successes in business development • Ability to bridge technology and business and articulate high-level technical solutions and differentiated value • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills • Multilingual – English, Spanish, Portuguese • Must be authorized to work in Brazil, Chile, or Peru without restriction/sponsorship • Services or solution consulting exposure to listed asset-intensive industries (nice-to-have) • Breadth across several AspenTech solution areas / multiple disciplines (nice-to-have) • Knowledge of AI/ML solutions and their application in industry (nice-to-have) • Strong understanding of digital transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries (nice-to-have) • Working knowledge of Advanced Process Control & Real Time Optimization (RTO), including DMC3, GDOT, Aspen Plus, or equivalent competitor technologies (nice-to-have) • Regional travel up to 35% (nice-to-have)
