📋 Description

• Act as protocol expert and pipeline ambassador for cell therapy trial sites across Australia • Champion patient recruitment, retention and safety across assigned cell therapy trials • Deliver advanced education and practical training to sites • Partner with investigators and site teams to create workable eligibility pathways and activate referral networks • Resolve clinical and operational challenges through root-cause analysis and improvement actions • Translate field insights into recommendations that improve strategy and site performance • Coordinate Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Patient Operations, Supply and Logistics, and Country Operations for site support • Develop training, SOPs and playbooks for AstraZeneca Australia’s cell therapy function • Capture insights to improve clinical trial delivery, patient experience, recruitment, retention and operational scale • Report to the Senior Director, Field Clinical Advisors APAC

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline • 5+ years’ experience in clinical research, clinical trial operations or field-facing scientific roles • Direct site engagement within oncology, haematology and/or advanced therapy clinical trials • Demonstrated GCP knowledge • Strong grasp of the cell therapy patient journey, including apheresis/collection, logistics and safety management • Capability to deliver protocol education and translate complex requirements into practical site actions • Territory- or field-based experience supporting customers, investigators or clinical trial sites • Excellent partner engagement, communication and presentation skills • Willingness to travel nationally • Patient- and site-centric attitude, data-informed problem-solving approach and comfort working in a build-and-scale environment • Advanced degree preferred, including PharmD, PhD, MSc, NP, MD/RN • Direct CAR-T, stem cell transplant or broader cell therapy experience desirable • Existing cell therapy site relationships in Australia desirable • Experience within large pharma, cross-functional site support models and digital insight platforms desirable • Credibility and confidence engaging Principal Investigators as a thought partner desirable
