📋 Description

• Provide Level III escalation support for complex technical issues and problems • Document technical solutions and build repeatable processes for Level I and II engineers • Scope, design, and deploy new infrastructure systems, including complex server migrations • Architect, document, and deploy shared computing systems supporting core organizational functions and high availability • Create, evaluate, and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures • Plan server deployment and infrastructure systems, gain organizational commitment, and select shared computing technologies • Manage and optimize VMware clusters for resilient, high-performing virtualization environments • Administer Azure resources, including configuring load balancers and managing enterprise application registrations • Configure, deploy, and maintain SSO integrations using Microsoft Entra ID • Own the end-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle across physical servers, load balancers, and cloud environments • Administer enterprise patch management routines for security and compliance • Drive process improvement through automation and scripting • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Azure VMs, VMware, storage systems, patch management, backup systems, and Active Directory • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 8+ years of related IT experience; or an equivalent combination of education and training • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, VMware, or Cisco are a strong plus • Advanced Microsoft Windows Server administration skills, including deep expertise in Active Directory • Advanced hands-on experience managing VMware clusters and Azure VMs • Experience with Azure resource management, load balancers, and application registrations • Strong proficiency configuring and troubleshooting SSO with Microsoft Entra ID • Deep understanding of PKI and extensive hands-on SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management • General network administration experience in a Cisco-based environment • Foundational knowledge of enterprise storage management • Experience planning and executing server migrations • Strong automation and scripting experience, such as PowerShell and Python • Experience with structured ticketing systems, strict IT processes, and change control management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
