📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Aurora’s suite of energy market models • Work closely with our research and consulting teams to derive insights from model results • Contribute to continuously improving how the modeling team operates

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or another quantitative field from a top university • Enjoyment of working through complex problems and the ability to explain your thinking clearly • Experience working with quantitative data through coursework, projects, or internships, including analysing data and drawing insights • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python or similar • Clear and effective communication skills, and a great team player • Proficiency in English (C1 level) • Written and spoken fluency in Portuguese (C2 level) • Desirable attributes: • Relevant Master’s degree or PhD • Internship, research, or work experience in a quantitative or technical setting • An interest in energy markets and how well-designed models can improve real-world decisions • Knowledge of statistical and/or optimization techniques
