📋 Description

• Design and program small modules, large components, features, feature sets or whole feature areas • Capture system-level requirements with Architects, Data Scientists, Business stakeholders and Product Managers • Identify work scope, provide initial estimates and justify estimates with facts • Apply Agile software development lifecycle knowledge • Engage in technical discussions, participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through whiteboarding • Collaborate with peers in a fast-paced technical design and development team • Guide a team of 2 to 3 developers in planning, execution and/or design architecture using Agile methodologies such as Scrum • Deliver tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet product release goals • Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code-quality automation • Provide and receive feedback on design and development • Apply domain knowledge and customer focus • Support build, release and deployment processes

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on backend/frontend development in Web/Cloud application • Prior experience implementing an application on Azure/AWS using microservices architecture • Experience with Docker/containerization • Proficiency in back-end development using TypeScript, Node.js and Angular • Proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with session management, caching, algorithms and data structures, secure coding • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, web servers and RESTful web services • Hands-on experience with AMQP/MQTT and message brokers such as RabbitMQ/Kafka • Flexibility to learn and develop in any language, technology or tool as required • Deep understanding of application and infrastructure architecture and non-functional aspects such as performance, scalability, reliability and availability • Deep understanding and hands-on experience of OOPS, best practices, refactoring, maintainable/reusable code, design principles and patterns, architecture, TDD, unit testing, debugging and automation • Ability to break down problems and estimate development task time • Graduate of Computer Science or a STEM major
