📋 Description

• Design and implement highly performant, scalable, and resilient microservices from scratch using PostgreSQL and AWS • Use Rust as the primary language, integrating Go and Python for specific services or data workloads • Build robust APIs using gRPC and REST for mobile and web engineering teams • Integrate Claude Code into the daily GitHub and development workflow • Apply best practices for type safety, concurrency, and high test coverage in distributed systems • Provide backend services, API contracts, and architectural guidance to mobile and web teams • Take ownership of core services and domains for the global online learning platform • Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile, parallel engineering environment • Mentor peers and align with parallel engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience • Proven track record with microservices and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL • Strong production-proven Rust experience, including ownership model, lifetimes, and async ecosystem such as Tokio • Solid proficiency in Go and/or Python • Proficiency with GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaboration • Deep understanding of distributed systems, AWS services, messaging patterns, and database optimization • Excellent communication skills for mentoring peers and aligning with engineering teams
