📋 Description

• running a continuous weekly 1:1 practice, removing blockers, and mentoring a team of engineers • establishing career growth objectives and providing continuous, specific feedback for every engineer • reviewing code, design documents, tests, and CI/CD changes regularly • backing up the team in the trenches • driving architectural, tooling, and technical roadmap decisions • collaborating with product, design, and customer-facing teams • planning, managing, and allocating engineering capacity against quarterly OKRs • championing and improving Beyond’s engineering practices • contributing to new products and projects while supporting existing code base

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience shipping and operating products in production • 5+ years of engineering management experience in a startup, distributed environment • comfortable reading, reviewing, and writing code in your team’s stack • comfortable using AI-assisted engineering tools as a force multiplier • a track record of improving team performance with CI/CD, risk-based testing, observability, execution planning, tracking, and data-based reporting • fluency in English.
