• Unlocking new business opportunities and driving projects to success. • Reporting and working closely with the directors. • Expertise in estimating and commercial skills, enabling to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients. • Keep an eye on planning authority websites to identify exciting work opportunities. • Actively pursue and obtain tender documents. • Complete and submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) to showcase our expertise. • Maintain and update our material suppliers' database. • Assess tender documents, take off quantities, and prepare detailed submissions. • Issue sub-contract enquiries and assess quotations. • Prepare specifications and contractors' proposals that stand out. • Submit tenders and follow up with post-tender negotiations. • Manages junior estimators and oversee tasks are meeting the deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. (RICS is a plus, but not essential). • With 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. • Good working knowledge of forms of contract in the Building and Civil Engineering industry. • Experience in managing junior estimators • Proficient in Word and Excel. • Exceptional skills or experience in taking tender submissions from enquiry to final submission. • Excellent analytical skills and financial prowess. • Good organizational and time-management skills. • Strong team leader with solid communication skills.
