📋 Description

• Evaluate, select, and order appropriate, cost-effective equipment for manufacturing company products • Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment • Maintain records of equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues • Study equipment performance and reliability • Establish programs and solutions to increase uptime and address equipment problems affecting manufacturing processes • Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations • Define and write preventative maintenance schedules • Assist more junior staff members • Coordinate work with third parties, vendors, or trade customers • Plan activities with other team members • Work independently and collaboratively • Provide regular updates to the manager on project/account status
