📋 Description

• Work closely with and support OEM and end-user customers to solve high-value problems using automation product lines • Work with Product and Engineering teams to support customer applications • Partner with sales to determine customer needs and provide pre-sales technical support • Become an expert in vacuum automation robots, wafer handling systems, loadports, motion controls, and software use cases • Guide product integrations at customer sites • Demonstrate product features and performance • Support First Article sign-off and product escalations • Debug complex issues with Field Service staff • Answer OEM customer questions about all aspects of the products • Build and maintain customer relationships as technical interface and trusted advisor • Understand customers’ applications and markets • Prepare detailed product specifications and define solutions for high-value applications • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential customers and product applications with sales and marketing • Communicate customer needs to marketing and product engineering teams • Launch and lead internal projects for customer requests, product enhancements, features, or software • Support customer visits and attend and present at trade shows and seminars • Develop and deliver demonstrations to win opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Technical ability to read drawings and understand how they work • Electrical and mechanical skills • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and motivation by challenges • Fast learner and effective teammate with a “can-do, no fear” mentality • Experience in a customer-facing role • Understanding of electronic components such as sensors, switches, relays, and actuators • Ability to understand system-level wiring diagrams • Ability to work through problems systematically and document findings • Strong commitment to goals and team-first attitude • Experience in 2D CAD; 3D CAD is a plus • Basic experience with scripting languages or programming • Ability to travel internationally, including to the USA • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (plannable)
