β€’ Monitoring agency performance, including production, premium growth, profitability, retention, submission activity, and overall agency results β€’ Developing and executing business plans that support profitable growth and strengthen agency performance β€’ Building, managing, and maintaining strong relationships with appointed agents, producers, and agency leaders β€’ Serving as the primary liaison between Builders Mutual and agency partners β€’ Partnering with agencies on growth opportunities, including larger and more complex account strategies β€’ Educating agents on Builders Mutual products, services, underwriting appetite, eligibility guidelines, pricing philosophy, and cross-selling opportunities β€’ Leading the resolution of agency questions and concerns while ensuring a positive partner experience β€’ Managing territory profitability and implementing action plans to improve growth, retention, and overall performance β€’ Collaborating closely with underwriting, claims, risk management, marketing, and internal partners to support agency success β€’ Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity within the territory

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of property and casualty insurance experience, preferably in territory management, agency management, business development, or relationship management β€’ Strong knowledge of commercial insurance principles, policy language, and underwriting practices β€’ Ability to build credibility and influence with agency partners and internal stakeholders β€’ Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills β€’ Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities β€’ Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology tools
