📋 Description

• Provide functional SAP consulting for SAP EDM and SAP S/4HANA Utilities • Develop target processes, requirements, system solutions, and target architecture for Energy Data Management • Conduct workshops covering meter point operations, grid operations, market communication, billing, and, where applicable, sales • Design and support the implementation of meter data management and time-series processing • Define rules for plausibility checks, validation, correction, and replacement-value formation • Design load profile management, profile assignment, aggregation, and balancing support • Ensure integration with meter point operations, market communication, billing, and downstream systems • Perform or coordinate SAP EDM customizing • Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, automation, and interfaces • Plan and conduct functional tests, analyze defects, and coordinate retesting • Prepare, moderate, and follow up on Fit-to-Standard workshops based on SAP Activate • Provide functional support during build, integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, and hypercare • Prepare project documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in SAP S/4HANA Utilities, particularly SAP Energy Data Management (EDM) • In-depth knowledge of energy-industry meter data processes for electricity and, ideally, gas • Practical experience with time series, load profiles, interval values, meter readings, meter data quality, plausibility checks, and replacement-value formation • Experience processing and providing meter data for billing, network usage, feed-in, balancing, and market communication • Strong understanding of the processes and data flows of meter point operators and distribution system operators • Knowledge of relevant German market roles and market processes • Experience designing interfaces at the functional level for meter data acquisition, head-end, MDM, billing, and reporting systems • Experience with SAP customizing in the EDM environment and with specifying enhancements, reports, and customer-specific validation rules • Proven experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops and working with the SAP Activate methodology • Excellent facilitation, communication, and documentation skills when working across business and technical interfaces
