📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications primarily using Node.js and Nest.js • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between internal and external systems • Work with microservices-based applications and distributed systems • Implement integrations using messaging and asynchronous processing • Support improvements to application performance, scalability, and resilience • Contribute to the implementation of logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms • Support the analysis and resolution of incidents and issues in development and production environments • Participate in the modernization and evolution of applications in cloud environments • Implement software development, security, and code quality best practices • Create and maintain unit and integration tests • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the team • Support the updating of libraries, frameworks, and dependencies • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and development process automation • Use Generative AI tools, such as Claude, to support development, analysis, documentation, and productivity • Work closely with developers, QA, technical leadership, and other stakeholders involved in deliveries

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Node.js • Experience with Nest.js • Experience developing REST APIs • Knowledge of backend development and system integration • Knowledge of software development best practices and code organization • Knowledge of microservices architecture • Understanding of distributed systems • Knowledge of scalability and resilience concepts • Experience with or knowledge of messaging, events, or asynchronous processing • Experience with or practical knowledge of AWS • Knowledge of applications in cloud environments • Understanding of scalability, availability, and cloud-native services • Experience with SQL • Knowledge of relational databases • Knowledge of data modeling • Understanding of query optimization and performance • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting • Knowledge of unit and integration testing • Experience analyzing and fixing bugs • Knowledge of CI/CD practices • Nice to have: knowledge of or experience with Open Finance and Open Banking • Nice to have: experience in financial services, payment systems, or regulated environments • Nice to have: experience with high-availability or high-transaction-volume environments • Nice to have: knowledge of Go, Kotlin, or Python • Nice to have: knowledge of NoSQL databases • Nice to have: experience with containers • Nice to have: knowledge of observability and APM tools • Nice to have: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code • Nice to have: familiarity with or experience using Generative AI in software development, especially Claude / Claude Code • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Organized and accountable approach to deliverables • Commitment to quality and software development best practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Interest in advancing technical expertise and expanding knowledge of architecture and cloud technologies • Ability to work autonomously on day-to-day activities while seeking technical support when necessary • Interest in understanding the impact of applications and integrations on the business • Interest in using AI tools to support productivity and delivery quality
