📋 Description

• Provide personal care, medical interventions, tube feeds and pre-dosed medications in line with each child’s individual care plan • Maintain the safety and well-being of the child • Report concerns promptly to parents as outlined in training • Support children predominantly within their homes • Support access to activities, education and community outings where appropriate • Use equipment safely and hygienically according to training • Build positive professional relationships with parents and children • Provide care to children with complex needs in remote areas and their communities • Provide respite for parents and family members • Attend paid in-person training before commencing

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to complete verbal and written tasks delivered in English (Professional Working Proficiency/C1/Advanced High ACTFL/ 3 ILR) • Well-developed communication skills and a professional manner • Ability to travel independently • Victorian license and own car or access to one is highly desired • General computer skills • Ability to enter information accurately • Compliance with mandatory documents outlined in the position description • Annual Influenza vaccination for Category A and B roles, unless medically exempt • Compliance with vaccination or immunity directions for other diseases, unless exempt • Successful completion of background checks, including reference checks • Submission of an up-to-date CV/Resume and cover letter
