📋 Description

• Contribute to the evolution of the pricing and credit-decision platform for thousands of mortgage lending applications • Develop high-availability distributed systems • Process large volumes of transactions with low latency • Evolve event-driven architectures • Ensure resilience, observability, and performance • Model complex domains and continuously evolve the platform • Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java and Kotlin • Build scalable solutions using a microservices architecture • Build and operate applications in AWS environments • Develop synchronous and asynchronous event-driven APIs • Integrate services with decision engines, business rules, and data platforms • Evolve the architecture to guarantee scalability, availability, and resilience • Address challenges related to concurrency, data consistency, and distributed processing • Participate in defining architecture and evolving domains using engineering best practices • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring • Perform code reviews and support the technical development of the team

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Java and Kotlin • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, messaging, integration patterns, and resilience • Consistent experience with AWS in high-scale production environments • Proficiency in event-driven architectures and high-volume online and batch processing • Engineering best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, code quality, and security • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases • Proven ability to break down large, ambiguous problems and deliver solutions autonomously • Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Terraform or CloudFormation • Preferred: Kafka, SNS, SQS, or other messaging platforms • Preferred: experience with decision engines such as BRE, ODM, FICO, or similar • Preferred: knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) • Preferred: experience in critical environments with SRE and DevOps practices • Preferred: experience with Credit products, Pricing, or Financial Markets
