📋 Description

• Lead several engineering teams, owning people, culture, and team delivery • Translate strategy into measurable targets and course-correct when results fall short • Oversee work on customer-facing products and backend systems • Partner closely with Product and maintain a high quality bar • Work with Staff Engineers to align architectural direction with delivery reality • Establish transparent decision-making and mediate conflict • Resolve team misalignment before it escalates • Develop engineers through coaching and technical management

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading and developing engineers • Several years of software development experience • Hands-on technical management experience • Experience with web-based solutions, API design, and server-client interactions • Solid backend experience • Breadth to discuss design and architecture with senior engineers • Knowledge of infrastructure and platform topics • Knowledge of customer-facing web and mobile systems • Strong communication, decisiveness, and assertiveness • Excellent conflict-resolution skills • Empathy and a coaching approach • Solid understanding of agile ways of working • Understanding of technical software-development challenges • Experience building prototypes, tools, or automations with AI • Fluency in English • German is a plus
