📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of agentic AI solutions for mission-critical mortgage servicing processes, focused on escrow management • Partner with a Business Analyst and Technical Subject Matter Expert to understand escrow workflows and translate domain knowledge into AI-powered workflows • Create executable documentation including process maps, decision trees, and regulatory checkpoints • Design multi-step agentic workflows for escrow analysis, RESPA/Reg X timing, disbursement sequencing, and exception resolution • Use Claude capabilities including extended thinking, tool use, and multi-turn reasoning • Implement agents and supporting infrastructure using Claude Code • Build test harnesses validating agent correctness against domain rules and regulatory constraints • Work with compliance and operations teams to field-test agents on real scenarios • Package domain insights, decision logic, and agent prompts for reuse in future projects • Create runbooks for domain-specific agent tuning and error diagnosis

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive software development experience; Python, TypeScript, or Go preferred • Comfort with API integration, data models, and system design • Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering, tool integration, multi-turn workflows, and error handling • Demonstrated experience building or deploying agentic systems using LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or custom orchestration • Ability to design multi-step reasoning control flows, handle uncertainty, and implement guardrails • Strong understanding of prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM limitations • Ability to extract domain logic from SMEs and BAs without formal specifications • Demonstrated success translating business rules into testable, executable requirements • Comfort asking clarifying questions and identifying workflow edge cases • Experience in regulated industries such as mortgage, fintech, or healthcare, or demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements, SLAs, and audit trails • Ability to determine when AI is unsuitable and advocate for rule-based logic • Mortgage servicing or loan origination experience (nice to have) • Hands-on use of Anthropic’s Claude API and Claude Code (nice to have) • Experience with MCP or other tool integration frameworks (nice to have) • Background in business process management, data modeling, or BPMN diagramming (nice to have) • Cross-functional project experience with non-technical stakeholders (nice to have)
