📋 Description

• As the technical guardian of our data platform, your work will focus on three strategic pillars: • Data Governance: Structure catalogs, data lineage and metadata management, ensuring all data sharing is auditable and standardized in compliance with a SOX environment. • Active FinOps: Monitor, analyze and execute cost optimization across the entire cloud ecosystem, including Databricks compute, Microsoft Fabric capabilities, storage and ADF. • Layered Security: Implement and manage access control policies (RBAC and ABAC), encryption and network security (VNets, Private Links) from storage to consumption, covering both cloud and on-premises environments. • Architectural Evolution: Design and evolve the integration between the modern cloud platform and legacy systems, and manage data consumption via Direct Lake. • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Record architectural decisions clearly to ensure technical alignment and governance for a team of 40 people.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in Azure: Deep knowledge of the Azure cloud ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Storage, Resource Groups and networking). • Experience with Databricks: Hands-on experience with Spark, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog. • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric: Experience with Fabric and Direct Lake (even if recent). • Hybrid Architecture: Familiarity with environments that integrate cloud and on-premises systems (experience with SQL Server, SSAS or similar is a plus). • Security and Governance: Practical understanding of cloud security (access controls, LGPD). • Compliance: Knowledge or prior experience in environments subject to SOX or ITGC compliance. • Language: Fluent technical English for reading and documentation.
