📋 Description

• Serve as Tech Lead for the VS Integrations team. • Develop and evolve the core product using Ruby on Rails or Go. • Implement innovative features that add value to the solution. • Write high-quality code and implement AI-powered solutions. • Define and evolve the architecture of integration systems. • Make technical decisions regarding the technology stack, patterns, and trade-offs. • Ensure technical consistency across services, modules, and integrations. • Provide technical leadership to the team, including technical guidance for frontend team members. • Act as a reference point for coding, design, and debugging. • Mentor backend and frontend engineers at different levels. • Define and maintain quality standards for code, testing, and observability. • Lead code review, refactoring, and technical design documentation practices. • Support the breakdown of complex problems into incremental deliverables. • Identify technical risks early and support estimation and planning activities. • Collaborate with PMs and Designers to design technically viable solutions. • Evaluate technical cost against delivered value and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • Support production operations and reliability, including critical incidents. • Pursue continuous improvement in MTTR, availability, and resilience, following the “you build it, you run it” principle.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend development experience. • Experience preferably using Ruby on Rails or Go. • Previous experience serving as a technical reference or providing technical leadership for a squad. • Strong knowledge of relational databases, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and efficient data modeling. • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS. • Strong knowledge of Datadog/Grafana. • Strong knowledge of messaging systems: Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka. • Proficiency in automated testing, using RSpec or similar tools. • Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns. • Experience developing scalable RESTful APIs. • Proficiency with Git/Linux. • Familiarity with LLM integrations, AI frameworks, or the development of data-driven features. • Experience with system architecture and technical decision-making in trade-off contexts. • Frontend familiarity sufficient to review architectural decisions and ensure effective backend integration. • Technical leadership skills for mentoring other developers. • Autonomy, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset. • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Experience with system integrations, third-party APIs, webhooks, CRMs/ERPs, or connector platforms is a plus. • Experience providing technical support to corporate/enterprise accounts is a plus.
