📋 Description

• Entrepreneurial responsibility & further development of the Business Unit • Autonomous management and development of the Banking Business Unit with full responsibility for revenue, profitability, growth and strategic target achievement • Develop and implement a sustainable growth strategy to strengthen the unit’s market position, customer retention and competitiveness • Identify new business areas, trends and market opportunities and actively develop resulting sales and service offerings • Build and maintain a visible market presence through active networking, client events, thought leadership contributions, partnerships and strategic contacts • Sales and client responsibility including Key Account Management (cross- and upselling with customers) • Establish long-term client partnerships at management level • Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification through proposal preparation to successful contract closure • Responsibility for revenue, results and KPIs • Accountable for achieving and further developing core business metrics such as revenue, profitability and utilization • Develop and implement concrete measures for continuous improvement of the Business Unit’s financial performance • Operational leadership & project responsibility • Responsible for the operational management of the Banking Business Unit and ensuring efficient, customer-focused service delivery • Plan, lead and oversee IT projects from concept through successful implementation • Lead, motivate and develop a team of IT project managers and consultants with a focus on ownership, performance and growth • Promote the professional and personal development of employees and deliberately build expert competencies • Recruit and integrate new talent to sustainably strengthen the Business Unit

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Financial Mathematics or a comparable qualification • At least 5 years of professional experience in disciplinary team leadership and a confident, persuasive presence • Experience in B2B sales — from planning through solution presentations to contract negotiations • Enjoy building and developing customer relationships and leveraging them as sales opportunities • Broad network in the payments/banking industry • Structured working style, confident demeanor and strong presentation skills • Strong communication skills — fluent in German and English • Full responsibility for the development of the Business Unit with high initiative, decisiveness and pronounced entrepreneurial thinking • Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours
