📋 Description

• Lead product design engagements and/or small design teams as needed • Contribute as a senior individual contributor depending on engagement needs • Improve existing products to achieve measurable gains in usability, conversion, or workflow efficiency • Make and defend visual and UI decisions for forms, workflows, CTAs, hierarchy, and layout • Work closely with engineering on live implementations and identify interface issues • Articulate design decisions and the problems they solve to engineers and executives • Facilitate cross-functional workshops • Lead business reviews and strategic planning sessions with senior stakeholders • Design software for regulated or enterprise domains and third-party platforms when applicable • Mentor and develop other designers through example and critique when applicable

🎯 Requirements

• 6–10+ years of UX/Product Design experience, ideally including consultancy, agency, or embedded-team experience with direct client or stakeholder ownership • Ability to lead a project or small team and contribute as a senior individual contributor • Track record of improving existing products with measurable usability, conversion, or workflow-efficiency gains • Strong visual and UI judgment for forms, workflows, CTAs, hierarchy, and layout • Ability to work closely with engineering on live implementations and evaluate interfaces • Ability to explain design decisions and the problems they solve to engineers and executives • Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and leading business reviews or strategic planning sessions with senior stakeholders • Background designing for regulated or enterprise domains is nice to have • Experience designing software embedded inside third-party platforms is nice to have • Familiarity with mature component libraries and design systems such as MUI is nice to have • Experience mentoring or leveling up other designers is nice to have • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus • Degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is nice to have
