📋 Description

• Write code in the Django backend powering the consumer dashboard and B2B platform • Develop new features for APIs supporting the consumer dashboard and customer reporting • Improve performance and reliability in Celery and RabbitMQ pipelines • Integrate third-party services such as payment providers and identity providers, including Stripe and WorkOS SSO • Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving, on a small backend team • Pick up real production work in the first week • Contribute to product development and technical direction while working closely with the founders

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production web applications • 3+ years with Python and Django • Production experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, and Redis • Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals: data structures, concurrency, SQL, and system design • Strong written communication • Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones • Self-direction and follow-through • Fluency in English • Strong plus: DRF and/or django-ninja • Strong plus: Postgres tuning and query analysis • Strong plus: Kubernetes and AWS • Strong plus: Stripe, WorkOS SSO, or other third-party API integrations • Strong plus: HTMX, React, or both • Strong plus: Background in consumer privacy or adjacent industries • Strong plus: Experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, etc.)
